	Port Wine Cellars Built by a family of Douro winemakers in 1751, the House of Ferreira has a rich tradition and a prominent role in the history of Port Wine. Dona Antonia Adelaide Ferreira contributed significantly to the consolidation of the brand. A legendary woman with a unique personality, who became a myth and a symbol of strength to face the adversities of the Douro in the nineteenth century. The Ferreira Cellars invite you to discover a brand which has been around for more than 250 years, that is a symbol of the highest quality and whose heart and soul are Portuguese.
	The Majestic Cafe Founded in 1921, it is considered to be one of the most beautiful and representative examples of Art Nouveau in Porto exuding an atmosphere of luxury, refinement and well-being. Its inherent beauty and its importance in the life of the city of Porto have deservedly led it to be classified as a building of public interest in 1983 and as a cultural heritage site thus allowing a full renovation programme to be undertaken culminating in its reopening in 1994, inviting customers to relive the fascinating Belle Époque. In J.K Rowling's biography, written by Sean Smith, it said that when the writer was living in Porto she used to spend quite a long time at the Majestic, working on the first book of 'Harry Potter'. The Majestic, according to a testimony from a client, would also be the favourite spot of Kubitshek, former president of Brazil.
	Casa da Música Lovers of creation and beauty are not indifferent to what the city of Porto has to offer, in terms of architecture. The exterior of Casa da Música has a peculiar and unusual shape, as if it’s a giant diamond found by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, its interior was also designed in detail and rated as having one of the most amazing concert halls ever seen, with a capacity of 1238 people. Two years after the inauguration of the House (which occurred on April 15, 2005), the award granted by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) designated the building as “intriguing, disturbing and dynamic”, making it very newsworthy and winning over many hearts.
	Lello & Irmão Bookstore Lonely Planet considered Lello & Irmão Bookstore as the third most beautiful library in the world. The store has an excellent neo-gothic façade, where you can see two figures painted by José Bielman, representing the Science and the Art. This facade is only surpassed by its stunning interior, designed by Xavier Esteves. The building was inaugurated on January 13th, 1906, in an important social event for both Portuguese and Brazilian societies, attended by famous people from different spheres - among them Guerra Junqueiro, a renowned Portuguese writer.
	The Clérigos Church was one of the first baroque churches in Portugal to adopt a typical baroque elliptic floorplan. The altarpiece of the main chapel, made of polychromed marble, was executed by Manuel dos Santos Porto. The monumental tower of the church, located at the back of the building, was only built between 1754 and 1763. The baroque decoration here also shows influence from the Roman Baroque, while the whole design was inspired by Tuscan campaniles. The tower is 75.6 metres high, dominating the city. There are 240 steps to be climbed to reach the top of its six floors. This great structure has become the symbol of the city.
	Serralves is a cultural institution located in Porto, Portugal, and one of the most important institutions worldwide, raking in the top 100 most visited museums in the world. It includes a Contemporary Art Museum, a Park and a Villa, each one an example of contemporary architecture, Modernism, and Art Deco architecture. The Museum, designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira, is now the second most visited museum in Portugal (almost 1 million visitors per year) and one of the most relevant in the contemporary art circuit in Europe.
